Shipping policy

That's Amazing Candles does offer free shipping on orders $74.95 or more within the Untied States. Otherwise standard rates through USPS and/or UPS apply.

We do ship on weekends occasionally, but we use discretion, especially during extreme weather temperatures. To avoid your candles sitting in hot/cold trucks over the weekend, we aim to limit shipments to earlier in the week when extreme temperatures are expected. Extreme cold can cause the wax to pull away from the container and wicks. The cold can also cause crystals to form in the wax. If crystals do form the candle is still safe to burn. Extreme heat can melt the wax.

For the best experience, please plan for someone to be home to accept deliveries, particularly during the summer and winter, to prevent your candles from sitting in the extreme temperatures. While we insure all shipments, please note that melted candles are not covered by shipping carriers like UPS, FedEx or USPS.

Here are some tips to help avoid issues:

  • Have your package delivered to a location where someone can be present, such as a friend or family member’s house or your workplace (if allowed).
  • If your package is being delivered to your home, try to have someone there to bring it inside as soon as possible, especially during extreme temperatures.
  • We aim to ship early in the week to minimize the time packages spend in warehouses or trucks over the weekend.

Shipping times can vary depending on the time of year. Shipping times start when the product has been shipped, not from when the order is placed. Generally, we ship orders within a few business days, though during extreme temperatures, it may take an extra day or two to ship, as we aim to ship earlier in the week to avoid extreme weather temperature exposure from the candles sitting in warehouses over the weekends as an extra precaution. This is just an estimate. You will receive tracking information to monitor your order.

Note: During holiday seasons, shipping delays are common and unfortunately beyond our control once the order has been dispatched.
